THE ESSENCE
COCKTAIL HALL
Step back into time as you enter The Essence Event Center’s Cocktail Hall. Soaring ceilings with original wood and steel beams meet polished concrete floors to set an impressive and glamorous tone. Intimate events, ceremonies, cocktail hours and epic dance parties are all a perfect fit for this 2,000 square foot space. Industrial sized windows line the historic brick walls throughout, flooding the hall with beautiful natural light.
RECEPTION HALL
A grand arch doorway guides you from the Cocktail Hall into the 5,000 square foot cedar timber lined Reception Hall. Tucked between the wood lined ceiling beams is state of the art sound and lighting resources. No one will miss a word of the speeches throughout the space. Custom down lighting and focus lighting will create an intimate experience for your guests. To easily switch over from dinner to party mode, a built-in lighting scheme is revealed beneath the beams. A band or DJ can utilize a stage area in either the Reception or Cocktail Hall.
COURTYARD
Our picturesque outdoor courtyard makes the perfect backdrop for an intimate ceremony. White garden styled chairs contrast beautifully with the historic brick and lush green. Fully equipped with a state of the art sound system, no one will miss a word of your ceremony.
THE SUITE
It’s your day! Sip champagne in style while surrounded by your wedding party. Eight individual vanity areas line one wall so your entire crew can get ready together. Complete with a bar, lounge area, and powder room, there is no lack of amenities in this 1,ooo+ square foot space. Make your pre-wedding hair and makeup a relaxing and private respite before the adventure begins. Your photographer will love you for providing a gorgeous, light-filled backdrop to catch each special moment as you slip into your wedding finery. Chic and classic, a perfect start to the day.
THE LOUNGE
It’s no secret that the wedding party is always ready to make the party happen. They might as well get it started in their own mid-century styled lounge. Video games, T.V’s , vintage arcade games, and a bar will set the scene for a memorable morning in this 1,000 square foot space. Throw in a morning beverage package and watch the fun unfold. A behind-the-scenes staircase outside The Lounge will ensure no unplanned reveals before the big moment.
LUNCH KITCHENETTE
Adjacent to the The Lounge and The Suite is a family styled kitchenette. Make sure your wedding party and family members are fueled up before the ceremony in our roomy luncheon kitchen.
